PRIX TOUR | Youth Art Competition & Creative Guidance
Explore the theme “Engage the World, Ignite the Dream” through original artwork, connecting observations and imagination with civilisations, artistic expression and global issues. The programme includes 10 hours of competition-focused art guidance from tutors with overseas art-study experience.

The supplied materials list 2026 submission stages on 10 September, 15 October, 25 November and 30 December, with the selected-work exhibition scheduled for 29–30 January 2027 at Le Carrousel du Louvre, Paris, France. Please enquire to confirm the applicable submission stage and final arrangements.
Three-dimensional materials and wooden frames are not accepted. Oil paintings must be on canvas. Works are not returned by default. Digital-artwork usage terms follow the organising committee’s guidance.
Award judging and invitations to exhibit are separate stages. Exhibition eligibility, certificates and associated benefits follow the organiser’s confirmation.
Three starting points for an original idea
The PRIX TOUR youth art materials use the theme Engage the World, Ignite the Dream to connect artistic expression with social observation. Three directions offer starting points for developing a personal response.
- Dialogue between civilisations: look for connections between the symbols, architecture and stories of different cultures, bringing history into conversation with the present.
- Artistic expression: use colour, composition and materials to develop a visual language of your own. Creative choices and technique work together within the artwork.
- Global issues: consider the environment, peace and technology, depicting your understanding of the world and its possible future.
How an artwork communicates
The supplied judging framework lists creativity at 25%, storytelling at 15%, expressive quality at 20%, emotional resonance at 20% and overall impression at 20%. These dimensions consider distinctive ideas, coherent storytelling, composition and colour, technical control, emotional authenticity, human concerns and the completeness of the artwork.
They invite a young artist to think about more than finishing an image: what does it communicate, how might a viewer respond, and how do its visual choices connect with the theme?
Keep the response original
The entry format is original A3 artwork. The materials list drawing, ink painting, watercolour, gouache, oil painting, crayon, sketching, cartoons, printmaking, comics and mixed-media painting. Choose an approach that suits the idea while checking the current size, material and submission requirements.
